This free tool displays single FLV video files version 1.1 or below. You can open, play, loop, and restart the video. You can drag-and-drop .flv onto the screen to start them. Videos will be displayed in original size.
Who needs a standalone Flash video player? Mostly Web developers and the people who know them. If that describes you, check out Riva FLV Player, a modest freeware program that lets you navigate backward and forward through FLV videos and play them in a loop.
The interface is simple and self-explanatory, and the playback didn't give us any trouble during tests. You can "pin" the player on top of your other windows, and unlike some similar programs, it automatically adjusts the display window to the size of the movie. For the small number of people who need a program like this, Riva FLV Player is a reasonable choice.
